What Is The Fee?
The fixed fee includes all disbursements and GST. It covers all the legal work up to and including your sentencing at first instance. There is no more to pay, so you do not have to worry about a big legal bill at the end that you were not expecting.
For pleas of guilty in the metropolitan Magistrate’s Courts, the fixed fee is $660.00.
For pleas of guilty in the metropolitan District Courts (where the more serious offences are dealt with), the fee is $1,980.00.
